Woman, 51, who claims she was brutally beaten and strangled for an hour during her Dominican Republic vacation is suing the resort

The Delaware woman who claims she was brutally beaten and strangled while staying at a Dominican Republic resort is suing the vacation destination for $3 million.
Attorneys for Tammy Lawrence-Daley, 51, of Wilmington, Delaware, sent out a press release Wednesday night announcing her plans to file a lawsuit against the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana resort in the Caribbean island nation where several American travelers have died in recent months.
Lawrence-Daley was vacationing at the all-inclusive Caribbean retreat with her husband, Christopher Daley, in January when she says she was attacked and beaten by a man wearing a hotel uniform and left for dead.
No one has been arrested in connection with the gruesome beating.
