Grandparents arrested in toddler’s death

The grandparents of a Queens toddler who died last August were arrested on Tuesday and charged in connection with his death. Grandmother Sita Parsad-Moore, 42, was booked on a manslaughter charge, while her husband, Vincent Moore, 40, was charged with reckless endangerment, police said. Romeo Lewis, 3 who lived in Richmond Hill, was hospitalized on July 28, 2016, suffering from severe trauma and with bruises over most of his body, according to cops. He clung to life at Long Island Jewish Hospital for several days before dying of “complications following blunt force head trauma,” the medical examiner said. Romeo had been put in his grandmother’s custody because his mom partied too much.
