Woman found chopped up inside freezer was suspect’s girlfriend

The woman whose dismembered body parts were found at a Bronx waste facility was the girlfriend of the man believed to be responsible for her death, police sources said. Somorie Moses is accused of throwing his girlfriend’s limbs and headless torso in the trash that ended up at Metropolitan Transfer Station on Halleck Street in Hunts Point, where a worker found the remains last Tuesday. ADVERTISING So far, authorities have only charged Moses with concealing a human corpse, but sources said he is believed to have killed the woman before disposing of her body. Police arrested Moses Sunday afternoon at his home in Flatbush, Brooklyn, where investigators discovered the woman’s head, hands and feet crammed into his freezer, sources said. The dead woman has not been identified by police as the Medical Examiner’s office continues to investigate the recovered body parts.
