Teen’s plea to cops at JFK led to father’s arrest for beatings

A man was arrested at JFK when his battered 13-year-old son approached a cop there for help, according to the Port Authority police. The teen told authorities his dad Aldon Hodges, 36, had lost his temper and slugged him at their home in Bed-Stuy before leaving for the airport, and showed them injuries from past beatings. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital for medical treatment. Hodges was charged with harassment, menacing, misdemeanor assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
